Where have we been?

Wow, it's been a long time since I have done any blogging! I have been so consumed with sitting watching my soaps and doing my nails and eating Bon-Bons that I have neglected to update my little blog journal.

Oh, I kid.

In the last 30 days we have:
*sold a house
*bought a house
*traveled to Africa
*brought home three awesome new children
*registered in a new school district
*began new school activities and Freshman football
*MOVED!
*started in our new schools
*moved Clint's office to our new hometown

We are now in our wonderful new house and living out of boxes. The kids have made so many new friends and the people here are so nice. Our new neighborhood has lots of kids and very friendly neighbors, so we spend a lot of time playing outside. One drawback from the move was taking our 15 year old deaf/blind dog out of his normal element. Once we got him to our new home his health rapidly declined and we had to have him put to sleep. It was a very sad day for Clint and I, since Paxton is what I bought Clint when we married! I am a great gift-giver! Hee hee! Anyway, while we do love it here, we miss our friends and family at home. We aren't far, but it is still strange to not be able to have morning coffee or our usual playdates with our friends.
Kid update: Boo is LOVING school here and football. He has made lots of friends and is quite the social bug. Kenzie is very happy with her school and teacher. She is starting gymnastics and looking forward to that. Jaxie loves school and jumps right up each morning to get there. The littlest people in the house are spending their days tearing up my house and emptying our fridge. They are all growing and talking and running and jumping and yelling and coloring and eating and playing, and that is all within the first half hour of the day. Life is good. God is great. We are blessed.
